What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Posted on Mar 23rd, 2007 by Galatea Shanti : Philosopher & Seeker Galatea Shanti
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 21, 2007:

I would quit my job and find one more suited to me.  I would stop stalling and actually work towards getting that Library Science degree I want.  I would travel the world, or the country at the very least. I would leave my apartment more often, and I would be more involved with something, anything to keep me from stagnating. I would write more often, sing more often, and dance more often.  I would treasure my solitude, and I would spend more time with my friends.

Do you know where you want to use this? I may be able to connect you with a useful resource offline.

I may have mentioned Meetup to you before. I think it might help you achieve this goal and get out of your apartment.

When you say “where”, do you mean physical location, or a particular field of library science, or something else entirely?

I don't really have solid answers to either of those questions, in any case.  I'm not even sure that I'd like working in a library - I plan to volunteer at a local library soon so that I can get some experience and make sure its actually something I would enjoy.  I know that I want to avoid the corporate world, so if I were going to work in a library, it would not be a corporate library.  Probably something public, or a school or university library.  Or maybe in archives.

I meant which field.
